Mark Alan Hamby, age 52 of Conway, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2016. He was born March 18, 1963 in Flint, Michigan to Junior David Hamby and Betty Norine Bryant Hamby. He was a 1981 graduate of Linden High School in Linden, Michigan where he lettered in football and was an all-state wrestler. Mark later graduated from ITT Tech in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He owned Mark's Custom Car Care in Conway, Arkansas and was passionate about restoring vehicles. He was a loving father and is survived by two sons, Daniel Alan Lee Hamby of Grand Blanc, Michigan, Andrew David Alan Hamby and husband Samy Rash of Sherwood; two sisters, Cynthia Hering and husband Craig of Fenton, Michigan, Sharon Rose and husband Thomas of Conway; parents, Junior and Betty Hamby of Conway; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew that he loved very much. Visitation is Thursday from 4:30 until 7:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services are Friday at 12:00 noon at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Smith Cemetery.
