Bud ment so much to us as new members of the church. He welcomed us and made us feel welcome. A shinning example of the Christian Spirit.

I am so sorry for your loss. Bud and I had been friends since we were very young. We ran at the Harding Track many times as adults until I moved to Little Rock. Bud was a good man and a good friend and will be missed.

We will truly miss Bud. He has been part of our extended family for years. We were privileged to spend holidays and birthdays with him at Sandra's house, Connie's house and our house over the years. Bud was always there pitching in and helping. He loved the Lord and it was visible to all that spent time with him. Blessed that we will be meeting him again someday. Love you brother in Christ....Keith and Jan

Bud was a life-long friend, and when you had a friend like Bud, you knew what a friend could be. I treasure the hours we spent talking and reminiscing about old times, old friends, and old teammates. This much I know about Bud Newton, he loved his Lord, and how he loved his family. Bud treasured his friends and was likewise treasured by many. He will be greatly missed.

Bud was my cousin. His mother & my mother were sisters. He was a care giver for his mother & I was walking the same journey with my mom. He was a comfort to me during this time & I hope I was to him.

Bud loved his family deeply & loved spending time with them. He was a good friend to many. The last time I saw Bud he was in the parking lot of WalMart waiting on a friend he had taken to shop. Little did I know that would be the last hug we would share.

Bud, what a blessing you were to me.

I loved you dearly.
