I will miss Dr. Jones. He was the one that persuaded me to teach at Harding for which I am very grateful. We shared a lot of "computer time" together. I always enjoyed visiting with him and sharing experiences. He will be missed.

My 3 sons, as well as Dennis and I, treasure our memories created with Wyatt and Iris in Italy, Greece, and other European trains, hostels, and villas. My boys still talk about how generous he was to play cards with them :). Love and condolences to his family.

Iris, I was thinking of you and Wyatt just yesterday morning in our worship service as we sang "O Sacred Head" before communion. I was reminded of how he approached me after our trip to the Epidaurus theater in Fall of 1985, remarking that for him the two songs I chose when asked to sing summed up his life philosophy: his patriotism to his country and his complete allegiance to his Savior. I had no idea at the time of communion that he'd passed on to see Savior face to face. I also remember how you and he were willing to give up an evening in the villa for a concert by the London Symphony in a cathedral of Florence because there was an oboe soloist I wanted to hear--what a special memory that remains for me! His "atta boy!" stayed with me all through my days of teaching. Know that you are in my prayers and the memories I have of that semester together stay with me, particularly over this last weekend before I even heard the news. I'm sorry for your loss, but so glad for the gain we have of a joyful, affirming, loving brother waiting to greet us on the other side when it's our turn to cross over. He'll be ready to give me the "atta girl!", that I know.

Wyatt was a good colleague and mentor to me as a young faculty member. I enjoyed his stories, his sense of humor, and his eagerness to serve. I respected his commitment to his work and to his students. He will be missed greatly.

Wyatt was a great bible teacher and preacher. We respected him greatly. We loved visiting with him and Iris. She always dressed in the highest fashion. They were a fun couple to be around. You could tell they loved the Lord and loved each other greatly.

I had Dr. Jones for a couple of classes while I was a student at Harding. Enjoyed him as a teacher and friend. I'm sad about his passing.
