Oh gosh, Dr. Jones was such a great teacher. He really demanded a lot out of us and i appreciated his work ethic. Such a gentleman, i was blessed to be in his class. God Bless R. Mandrell

Wyatt and Iris are special to us and our three boys because of our shared semester in Florence in 1985. The Joneses were happy to spend time with our family even though three energetic little boys and our limited budget must have caused them to alter their sightseeing preferences on our free travel trip with them to Milan and Austria. Sincere condolences to Iris and her children.

Dr. Jones believed in me, and encouraged me to be better than I was before that moment in time. My email is harding.edu because of him. Charlie and I cherish our time as students in his classes and growing as good friends. Much love and many prayers.

Oh Gosh! Just heard the news of Dr. Jones's passing. Loved the man. I had him in a couple of Ed. classes such a great teacher, so interesting and funny, i thought he was a great speaker. He keep 100 kids in a classroom interested in what he was saying, that's something in itself. God Bless Dr. Wyatt Jones, we will all miss him and i will always remember his thoughtfulness. He used to get after me to do better, I was always so slow in getting his message, haha. Loved the guy, will miss him. God knows he got a good one, in Dr. Jones. Take Care

David and I were friends and former students, both in college and Bible class. We will miss him!

I was doubled blessed because Brother Wyatt was my professor at Harding and the preacher at my hometown congregation in Beedeville.
His interaction with people immediately put you at ease. His sincere praise of a person increased your self-esteem. His humor and story telling are legendary.
The love Miss Iris and he shared was a model for young Christian couples.
May God give his family peace and comfort and the knowledge that one day you will be together again.

Dr. Jones was our club sponsor and one of my education teachers as well...I tutored his son in 9th grade science as part of my internship in education...I enjoyed his humor, wisdom, and friendly demeanor with students, club members, and people in general...such a wonderful man, leader, and teacher to know, learn from, and be around...:)

He was one of my favorite professors. I first met him in line at a Kenny Rogers concert in Little Rock. He and his wife exuded such energy and love for life that night. Later, I applied to graduate school at Harding. He looked at my excellent GRE score and my very average GPA and laughingly stated that I had obviously had a lot of fun as an undergrad. I am proud to say that I had an excellent GPA as a graduate student and enjoyed every minute in the program. He was an outstanding teacher and mentor. Harding has lost a great Christian leader. I am so glad I got to know him and study at his feet.
