I was the night caregiver to Irma's Mother, Edith Pyles, some 30 plus years ago. Irma was a joy to do business with and I was very honored to have known her! She was so thoughtful and caring toward her Mother, and gave of her time and energy to keep Mrs. Pyles in her home as long as possible. So glad I was acquainted with her!
My prayers are with the family at this time.

I have known Irma all my life. Her aunt was married to my uncle. She was one of the best people I have ever known. She took good care of her family, especially her mother, in her later years. She had a gracious and positive outlook on life and an interest in other people. I will miss her.

A true Lady I never saw without a smile on her face and a happy story to tell. I thought she was beautiful inside and out and I loved her laugh! Judging by that smile on her face in the picture; I may unfortunately have lost touch with her, but she never with her Heavenly Father or herself! Prayers of peace for all her family and loved ones.

My cousin Irma was a true lady and I will miss her greatly. She was the very last of my Strahl and Pyles relatives in Judsonia, so her passing is a poignant milestone. Although she was always classy you could not miss the twinkle in her eye. And like most of the women in her family, she could be a force of nature. I a very large family with many educators I believe she was the first and therefore an inspiration to the rest of us.

The Pyles & Emde families were friends of my parents many years ago, so Mrs. Irma always kept in contact with our families over the years. She was such a classy lady always so neat, a big smile and loved her little home town. She attended the JHS reunions and helped organize them for many years, I will always remember her and miss
her phone calls and notes asking about my siblings. God Bless the families.

My love & respect for Mrs Emde. She was a lovely person, & a great teacher. A sweet friend I looked forward to seeing @ the alumni weekend. She was always so gracious, remembered her students from so long ago. I missed seeing her last October @ the reunion.
